The TCE-PD Timecode Expansion adds external PD-FSK synchronization to the FC-E Raptor, allowing your team to synchronize scripted fireworks with music and the wider production. Your Raptor automatically recognizes the Expansion and selects timecode synchronization, keeping setup simple for your operators and helping keep training requirements low.
Operational Role
Connect the TCE-PD to the FC-E Raptor’s expansion port to add external PD-FSK timecode synchronization. The FC-E recognizes the expansion automatically, making setup straightforward before running a script from the incoming timecode. Automatic timecode switch-over and pause-show handling are supported during operation.
PD-FSK timecode is received through the balanced XLR input, providing the FC-E with the external timing reference for synchronized firing. The USB interface can also pass the incoming timecode directly to Visual Show Director for live synchronization, with or without an FC-E connected.
