The DB-A Dragon Iso-Booster extends the Pyrodigital network by regenerating the incoming data signal and restoring network power for the next section, while also providing galvanic isolation. Connect up to 40 firing modules on the internal battery, or up to 128 with the compatible external power supply.

Operational Role
The DB-A Dragon Iso-Booster receives the incoming Pyrodigital network signal through a galvanically isolated input. It then regenerates that signal and adds power for the downstream network. On long cable runs, where voltage loss can become a limitation, this allows the network to continue without relying on heavier power-carrying cable. Suitable signal cables with smaller conductors can therefore be used in many long-run applications, reducing cable cost and handling requirements.
Its galvanically isolated input electrically separates the incoming network from the Dragon’s output network. The regenerated output has its own driver, thermal circuit breaker, and local power source.
A Dragon can be connected at available points throughout the Pyrodigital network, including after a long cable run or another network extension; it does not need to connect directly to the field controller. The internal battery supports up to 40 firing modules. With a compatible external power supply, the Dragon can support up to 128 modules and operate from mains power; contact us to confirm availability for your country.
