Deadman Link Cable

Operate Linked Controllers from One Deadman Pickle

At a Glance

The Deadman Link Cable carries enable and trigger signals from an FC-A to another compatible field controller in your Pyrodigital firing system. Control linked FC-A units, or an FC-E at the end of the link, from the Deadman Pickle connected to the first FC-A.

Operational Role

Link several FC-A controllers in sequence so one Deadman Pickle provides their enable and trigger signals. An FC-E can receive these signals from an upstream FC-A but cannot pass them on to another controller.

Each controller retains its own script and operating settings. The link shares the Deadman control signals; it does not transfer scripts or replace timecode synchronization.

System Compatibility

  • Field controllers: FC-A sends, receives and passes on Deadman link signals; FC-E receives them from an FC-A
  • Accessories: Deadman Pickle
  • Used with the Deadman Pickle connected to the first FC-A.
